RESOLUTION NO. 2024-091
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY PETERSON CONTRACTORS,
INC., OF REINBECK, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$113,434.00, 1N CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2023 GATES
PARK POOL DEMOLITION PROJECT, CONTRACT NO.1053,
AND RECEIVE AND FILE A TWO-YEAR MAINTENANCE
BOND.
WHEREAS, Peterson Contractors, Inc., of Reinbeck, Iowa, performed work in
conjunction with the FY 2023 Gates Park Pool Demolition Project, Contract No.1053, and
WHEREAS, Peterson Contractors, Inc., has completed the aforementioned project, in
accordance with the bid documents, specifications, form of contract, etc., as approved by Council
on October 3, 2022, Resolution No. 2022-617, and
WHEREAS, a two-year maintenance bond was not required for the project as stated in
the title.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by Peterson Contractors, Inc., in conjunction with the FY 2023 Gates
Park Pool Demolition Project, Contract No.1053, in the amount of $113,434.00, is hereby
approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of February 2024.
