WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa is the owner of property located east of 408 Florence Street, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and legally described as follows: DESCRIPTION — EXISTING PARCEL NO. 891324479019 (PER COURT ORDER RECORDED 1/23/07 AS DOCUMENT 2007-016060): THE NORTH 48 FEET OF LOT 4 AND THE EAST 65.5 FEET OF LOT 5 IN G. The city-owned property located east of 408 Florence Street, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, as fully described in the published notice in the Waterloo Courier on February 10, 2024, is not presently needed, and will not be needed in the foreseeable future for municipal purposes, and its ownership is serving no municipal purpose. 2. That the offer of Jorge Garcia Villa, Jose Guzman and Elvia Ramirez, and Catalina and Paulino Sanchez to purchase the city-owned property, located east of 408 Florence Street, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount of$70.00 plus publishing and recording costs for each part, is hereby accepted for said property. 3. That the City of Waterloo, Iowa conveys said parcels of real property to Jorge Garcia Villa, Jose Guzman and Elvia Ramirez, and Catalina and Paulino Sanchez, by quit claim deed. 4. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said deeds. 5. That the original of said quit claim deeds, fully executed and acknowledged, are hereby approved and confirmed by this Council. 6. That the Community Planning and Development Director is authorized and directed to deliver said deeds of conveyance to Jorge Garcia Villa, Jose Guzman and Elvia Ramirez, and Catalina and Paulino Sanchez, upon execution of said documents and receipt of payments of $70.00 plus publishing and recording costs for each part.
