RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING ON PROPOSED PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS,
FORM OF CONTRACT, ESTIMATE OF COST, ETC., IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE ALARM CONTROLLER SYSTEM
IN 23 LIFT STATIONS AND TO EXPAND ON THE
CURRENT LIFT STATION ALARM SYSTEM, IN THE
CITY OF WATERLOO AS DECEMBER 20, 2010, AT
5:30 P.M. AT CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WITH
THE TAKING OF BIDS THEREFORE, AND INSTRUCTING
THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF
HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
shall meet at the City Hall Council Chambers in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 20t" day of December, 2010,
for the purpose of holding a public hearing on proposed plans,
specifications, form of contract, estimate of cost, etc., in
conjunction with the Alarm Controller System in 23 Lift Stations
and to Expand on the Current Lift Station Alarm System, in the
City of Waterloo, with the taking of bids therefore.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.

RESOLUTION NO. 2010-1062
RESOLUTION PRELIMINARILY APPROVING THE PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ESTIMATE OF
COST, ETC., IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE ALARM
CONTROLLER SYSTEM IN 23 LIFT STATIONS AND TO
EXPAND ON THE CURRENT LIFT STATION ALARM
SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
heretofore instructed the Superintendent of Waste Management
Services of said City to prepare proposed plans, specifications,
form of contract, estimate of cost, etc. in conjunction with the
Alarm Controller System in 23 Lift Stations and to Expand on the
Current Lift Station Alarm System, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
and
WHEREAS, said Superintendent of Waste Management Services
did file said plans, specifications, form of contract, estimate
of cost, etc., in conjunction with the Alarm Controller System in
23 Lift Stations and to Expand on the Current Lift Station Alarm
System.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, estimate of cost, etc., in conjunction with the Alarm
Controller System in 23 Lift Stations and to Expand on the Current
Lift Station Alarm System, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be, and
the same are hereby, preliminarily approved as filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of November, 2010.
