RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION TO CEDAR VALLEY
CIVIL RIGHTS PEACE WALK, INC. TO HOLD PEACE
WALK EVENT ON NOVEMBER 13, 2010.
WHEREAS, Cedar Valley Civil Rights Peace Walk, Inc. has made
written application to the City Council asking that they be
authorized and permitted to hold a Peace Walk on Saturday,
November 13, 2020, together with recommendation of approval of
Chief of Police, and
WHEREAS, said Peace Walk will begin at approximately 10:00
a.m. with route starting at Lincoln Park located on East 4th and
Mulberry Streets, traveling south on 4th Street and ending at the
Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center located on West 4th and
Commercial Streets.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Cedar Valley Civil Rights
Peace Walk, Inc. to hold a Peace Walk on Saturday, November 13,
2020, beginning at approximately 10:00 a.m. with route starting
at Lincoln Park located on East 4th and Mulberry Streets,
traveling south on 4th Street and ending at the Five Sullivan
Brothers Convention Center located on West 4th and Commercial
Streets, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this4rnest
