RESOLUTION NO. 2024-133
RESOLUTION APPROVING A FEDERAL -AID AGREEMENT,
PROJECT NO. HDP-8155(775)--71-07, WITH THE IOWA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $4,386,427.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE LA PORTE
ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, that the Federal Aid Agreement dated March 4, 2024, between the Iowa Department of
Transportation and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, for Surface Transportation Block Grant Program
funding, for PCC Pavement - Grade and Replace on La Porte Road, from E. Shaulis Road N. 1.6
miles to Bopp Street, in the amount of $4,386,427.00, is hereby approved, and the Mayor and
City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said agreement on behalf of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of March 2024.
