RESOLUTION NO. 2024-115
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY K & W ELECTRIC, INC., OF
CEDAR FALLS, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $696,730.20, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2022 4TH STREET BRIDGE
AND DAM LIGHTING PROJECT, CONTRACT NO. 1054, AND
RECEIVE AND FILE A TWO-YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, K & W Electric, Inc., of Cedar Falls, Iowa, performed work in conjunction
with the FY 2022 4th Street Bridge and Dam Lighting Project, Contract No. 1054, and
WHEREAS, K & W Electric, Inc., has completed the aforementioned project in
accordance with the bid documents, specifications, form of contract, etc., as approved by Council
on July 18, 2022, Resolution No. 2022-466, and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by K & W Electric, Inc., in conjunction with the FY 2022 4th Street
Bridge and Dam Lighting Project, Contract No. 1054, in the amount of $696,730.20, is hereby
approved and a two-year maintenance bond received and filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of March 2024.
