RESOLUTION ADOPTING UNIFORM TRAFFIC SIGNAL
CHANGE INTERVAL POLICY (YELLOW AND ALL -RED
TIMING) .
WHEREAS, the Traffic Operations Superintendent suggests the
adoption of the Uniform Traffic Signal Change Interval Policy
(Yellow and All -Red Timing), and
WHEREAS, adopting a Uniform Traffic Signal Change Interval
Policy (Yellow and All -Red Timing) based on current laws and
literature acts to improve safety and reduce red light running.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the adoption of the Uniform Traffic Signal
Change Interval Policy (Yellow and All -Red Timing), be and the
same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of November, 2010.
