RESOLUTION NO. 2024-140
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF BID TO
RESTORATION SERVICES OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $31,970.00, APPROVING THE CONTRACT,
BONDS, AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE HANGAR NO. 4 TUCKPOINTING
AND PAINTING, IDOT FY-23 CSVI PROJECT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Restoration Services of Waterloo, Iowa, submitted a bid in conjunction with
the Hangar No. 4 Tuckpointing and Painting, IDOT FY-23 CSVI Project, in the amount of
$31,970.00, and is the apparent low bidder, and
WHEREAS, Restoration Services submitted a written contract, bond, and certificate of
insurance, per city specifications, in conjunction with the Hangar No. 4 Tuckpointing and
Painting, IDOT FY-23 CSVI Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. That the bid of Restoration Services, in the amount of $31,970.00, in conjunction with
the Hangar No. 4 Tuckpointing and Painting, IDOT FY-23 CSVI Project, is hereby accepted and
awarded to Restoration Services.
2. That the contract, bond, and certificate of insurance submitted by Restoration
Services, in conjunction with the Hangar No. 4 Tuckpointing and Painting, IDOT FY-23 CSVI
Project, are hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to
execute said documents.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of March 2024.
