RESOLUTION NO. 2024-142
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF BID TO MIKE
FEREDAY HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $26,753.00,
APPROVING THE CONTRACT, BONDS, AND CERTIFICATE
OF INSURANCE, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE HANGAR
NO. 4 HVAC REPLACEMENT, IDOT FY-23 CSVI PROJECT,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Mike Fereday Heating & Air Conditioning of Waterloo, Iowa, submitted a
bid in conjunction with the Hangar No. 4 HVAC Replacement, IDOT FY-23 CSVI Project, in
the amount of $26,753.00, and is the apparent low bidder, and
WHEREAS, Mike Fereday Heating & Air Conditioning submitted a written contract,
bond, and certificate of insurance, per city specifications, in conjunction with the Hangar No. 4
HVAC Replacement, IDOT FY-23 CSVI Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. That the bid of Mike Fereday Heating & Air Conditioning, in the amount of
$26,753.00, in conjunction with the Hangar No. 4 HVAC Replacement, IDOT FY-23 CSVI
Project, is hereby accepted and awarded to Mike Fereday Heating & Air Conditioning.
2. That the contract, bond, and certificate of insurance submitted by Mike Fereday
Heating & Air Conditioning, in conjunction with the Hangar No. 4 HVAC Replacement, IDOT
FY-23 CSVI Project, are hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and
directed to execute said documents.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of March 2024.
