RESOLUTION NO. 2024-145
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY D & N FENCE CO., INC., OF
CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $105,811.25,
IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2024 TROLLEY CAR
TRAIL CHAIN LINK FENCE REPLACEMENT PROJECT,
CONTRACT NO. 1093, AND RECEIVE AND FILE A TWO-
YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, D & N Fence Co., Inc., of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, performed work in
conjunction with the FY 2024 Trolley Car Trial Chain Link Fence Replacement Project, Contract
No. 1093, and
WHEREAS, D & N Fence Co., has completed the aforementioned project in accordance
with the bid documents, specifications, form of contract, etc., as approved by the Engineering
Department on September 22, 2023, and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of Acceptance of
Work, for work performed by D & N Fence Co., in conjunction with the FY 2024 Trolley Car
Trial Chain Link Fence Replacement Project, Contract No. 1093, in the amount of $105,811.25,
is hereby approved and a two-year maintenance bond received and filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18t" day of March 2024.
