RESOLUTION NO. 2024-170
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS APRIL 18, 2024, AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS MAY 6, 2024, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE FY 2025 LEVEE RIP RAP SPRAYING PROJECT,
CONTRACT NO. 1104, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK
TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the FY 2025 Levee Rip Rap Spraying Project, Contract No. 1104, are hereby
approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the FY 2025 Levee Rip Rap
Spraying Project, Contract No. 1104, be scheduled for April 18, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., City Hall,
Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 6th day of May 2024, to hold
a public hearing, in conjunction with the FY 2025 Levee Rip Rap Spraying Project, Contract No.
1104.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
