RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ESTIMATE OF
COST, ETC., IN CONJUNCTION WITH ASBESTOS
REMOVAL AT THE FORMER VAN EATON PUBLIC
SCHOOL, CONTRACT NO. 137-AR-10-25-10-CDBG.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
heretofore instructed the Contracts and Grants Coordinator of
said City to prepare proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, estimate of cost, etc., for Asbestos Removal at the
former Van Eaton Public School, Contract No. 137-AR-10-25-10-
CDBG, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, said Contracts and Grants Coordinator did file said
preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc. for
Asbestos Removal at the former Van Eaton Public School, Contract
No. 137-AR-10-25-10-CDBG, which were preliminarily approved by
Resolution No. 2010-891 on September 27, 2010, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on
October 18, 2010.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, etc. for Asbestos Removal at the former Van Eaton
Public School, Contract No. 137-AR-10-25-10-CDBG, in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, be, and the same are hereby, approved as filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of October, 2010.
