RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO
CARDINAL CONSTRUCTION, INC. OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $55,609.72, FOR THE
F.Y. 2011 CARNEGIE ANNEX PARKING LOT REPAIR,
CONTRACT NO. 800.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Cardinal Construction, Inc. of Waterloo,
Iowa, in the amount of $55,609.72, for the F.Y. 2011 Carnegie
Annex Parking Lot Repair, Contract No. 800, described in the
plans and specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for
said project in Resolution No. 2010-938, after public hearing on
October 18, 2010 on published notice required by law, be and is
hereby accepted, the same being the lowest bid received for said
project.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of October, 2010.
