RESOLUTION NO. 2024-240
RESOLUTION REJECTING ALL BIDS AND RESETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS MAY 9, 2024, AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS MAY 20, 2024, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE 2024-2025 RESIDENTIAL/MISCELLANEOUS
AREAS MOWING AND LOT MAINTENANCE SERVICES
CONTRACT FOR CITY -OWNED LOTS GENERALLY
MAINTAINED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING
DEPARTMENT, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the recommendation to reject all bids in conjunction with the 2024-2025
Residential/Miscellaneous Areas Mowing and Lot Maintenance Services Contract for city -
owned lots generally maintained by the Planning and Zoning Department, be hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with the 2024-2025
Residential/Miscellaneous Areas Mowing and Lot Maintenance Services Contract for city -
owned lots generally maintained by the Planning and Zoning Department, be scheduled for May
9, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 20th day of May, 2024, to
hold a public hearing in conjunction with the 2024-2025 Residential/Miscellaneous Areas
Mowing and Lot Maintenance Services Contract for city -owned lots generally maintained by the
Planning and Zoning Department.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 29th day of April 2024. .
