RESOLUTION NO. 2024-200
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
THE DATE OF BID OPENING AS MAY 2, 2024, AND DATE
OF PUBLIC HEARING AS MAY 6, 2024, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE FY 2024 RAINBOW DRIVE RAILROAD
CROSSING REPAIR PROJECT, CONTRACT NO. 1108, AND
INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the FY 2024 Rainbow Drive Railroad Crossing Repair Project, Contract No.
1108, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the FY 2024 Rainbow Drive
Railroad Crossing Repair Project, Contract No. 1108 be scheduled for May 2, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.,
City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 6th day of May 2024, to hold
a public hearing, in conjunction with the FY 2024 Rainbow Drive Railroad Crossing Repair
Project, Contract No. 1108.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
