RESOLUTION NO. 2024-216
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FY 2025 BUDGET FOR THE
BUDGET YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2025.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa has considered the proposed
FY 2025 city budget including total property tax askings of $53,138,500 and a levy rate of
$22.08917 for the budget year ending June 30, 2025, and
WHEREAS, a notice concerning the proposed public hearing to approve the FY 2024
city budget was published in the Waterloo Courier on April 2, 2024, and posted on the city
website and social media account, as required by law, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing concerning the approval of the proposed FY 2025 city
budget was held on April 15, 2024.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the proposed FY 2025 city budget including total property tax
askings of $53,138,500 and a levy rate of $22.08917 for the budget year ending June 30, 2025,
be hereby approved. The roll was called and the vote was,
AYES: Boesen, Nichols, Creighton -Smith, Chiles, Simon, Wilder, and Feuss
NAYS: None
ABSENT: None
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15`h day of April 2024.
