RESOLUTION NO. 2024-219
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENTS, FORM OF
CONTRACT, ETC., AND AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE 2024-2025 RESIDENTIAL
LOTS/MISCELLANEOUS AREAS MOWING AND LOT
MAINTENANCE SERVICES CONTRACT FOR CITY -OWNED
LOTS GENERALLY MAINTAINED BY THE PLANNING AND
ZONING DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, heretofore instructed the
Community Planning and Development Director of said city to prepare and file specifications,
bid documents, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the 2024-2025 Residential
Lots/Miscellaneous Areas Mowing and Lot Maintenance Services Contract for city -owned lots
generally maintained by the Planning and Zoning Department, and
WHEREAS, said Community Planning and Development Director did file said
specifications, bid documents, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the 2024-2025
Residential Lots/Miscellaneous Areas Mowing and Lot Maintenance Services Contract for city -
owned lots generally maintained by the Planning and Zoning Department, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on April 15, 2024.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it is so ordered on motion
by this Council that said specifications, bid documents, form of contract, etc., in conjunction
with the 2024-2025 Residential Lots/Miscellaneous Areas Mowing and Lot Maintenance
Services Contract for city -owned lots generally maintained by the Planning and Zoning
Department, are hereby approved, and said project proceeds in accordance with said
specifications.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of April 2024.
