RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE DEMOLITION AND SITE CLEARANCE
SERVICES WITH REGULATED ASBESTOS CONTAINING
MATERIALS (RACM) FOR THE HAZARD MITIGATION
GRANT PROGRAM (HMGP) PROPERTY ACQUISITION
PROJECT.
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 2010-787, Request for Proposal
document, plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimate of
cost, etc., in conjunction with the Demolition and Site Clearance
Services with Regulated Asbestos Containing Materials for the
Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) Property Acquisition
Project, for the following properties: 11 Sans Souci Drive, 19
Sans Souci Drive, 23 Sans Souci Drive, 132 Sans Souci Drive, 136
Sans Souci Drive, 140 Greenwood Avenue, and 188 Greenwood Avenue,
in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, have been approved and adopted by
this Council after the public hearing on September 7, 2010 as
prescribed by statute.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it
is so ordered on motion by this Council that the said project
proceed in accordance with said plans and specifications.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of September, 2010.
