RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THE IOWA NORTHLAND
REGIONAL COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS (INRCOG)
FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE CDBG DISASTER
RECOVERY INFRASTRUCTURE GRANT (CONTRACT
#08 -DRI -278) FOR THE COMMERCIAL STORM WATER
LIFT STATIONS PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo has received funding through
the CDBG Disaster Recovery Infrastructure Grant program for the
Commercial Storm Water Lift Stations Project, and
WHEREAS, one of the provisions of the Grant calls for
proven ability to deal with the administration of the EDA rules
and regulations, and
WHEREAS, INRCOG has the personnel and experience to
properly administer Economic Development Administration
projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Mayor be authorized to sign a
contract for Administrative Services with the Iowa Northland
Regional Council of Governments for the administration of the
CDBG Disaster Recovery Infrastructure Grant Commercial Storm
Water Lift Stations Project (Contract #08 -DRI -278) in an amount
not to exceed $40,000.00.
