RESOLUTION NO. 2024-280 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REAL ESTATE PURCHASE AGREEMENT AND TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT AGREEMENT WITH PRIME RE, LLC, FOR PROPERTIES LOCATED NORTH OF 2323 LA PORTE ROAD, SOUTH OF 2134 LA PORTE ROAD, AND NORTH OF 2134 LA PORTE ROAD, IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,553.49 PLUS UP TO $2,000.00 IN CLOSING COSTS, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE LA PORTE ROAD RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS FOLLLOLWS: 1. That the Real Estate Purchase Agreement dated May 6, 2024, between Prime RE, LLC and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount of$5,553.49 plus up to $2,000.00 in closing costs, for properties located north of 2323 La Porte Road, South of 2134 La Porte Road, and North of 2134 La Porte Road, and legally described as follows: DESCRIPTION: ACQUISITION PROJECT PARCEL LPR107 A PARCEL OF LAND SITUATED IN PART PARCEL "B" IN GOVERNMENT LOT 6, SECTION 1, TOWNSHIP 88 NORTH, RANGE 13 WEST OF THE 5TH P.
