RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF BID TO SANDRY FIRE
SUPPLY, L.L.C. OF DEWITT, IOWA, FOR THE
PURCHASE OF SELF CONTAINED BREATHING
APPARATUS (SOBA) EQUIPMENT, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$176,640.00, AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO.
2010-593 IN ITS ENTIRETY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Sandry Fire Supply, L.L.C. of DeWitt, Iowa,
in the amount of $176,640.00, for the purchase of Self Contained
Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) Equipment, described in the
specifications heretofore adopted by this Council in Resolution
No. 2010-554 for said purchase, after public hearing on June 28,
2010 on published notice required by law, be and is hereby
accepted, the same being the lowest bid received for said
purchase.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Resolution No. 2010-593, be and
the same, hereby rescinded in its entirety.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of September, 2010.
