RESOLUTION NO. 2024-260
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF BID TO
LANDMARK TURF SERVICES, LLC, OF DUNKERTON,
IOWA IN THE AMOUNT OF $53,664.00, APPROVING THE
CONTRACT, BONDS, AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE,
IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2025 LEVEE RIP RAP
SPRAYING PROJECT, CONTRACT NO. 1104, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Landmark Turf Services, LLC, of Dunkerton, Iowa, submitted a bid in the
amount of $53,664.00, in conjunction with the FY 2025 Levee Rip Rap Spraying Project,
Contract No. 1104, and is the apparent low bidder, and
WHEREAS, Landmark Turf Services, LLC submitted a written contract, bond, and
certificate of insurance, in conjunction with the FY 2025 Levee Rip Rap Spraying Project,
Contract No. 1104.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the bid of Landmark Turf Services, LLC, in the amount of $53,664.00, in
conjunction with the FY 2025 Levee Rip Rap Spraying Project, Contract No. 1104, is
hereby awarded to Landmark Turf Services, LLC.
2. That the contract, bond, and certificate of insurance submitted by Landmark Turf
Services, LLC, in conjunction with the FY 2025 Levee Rip Rap Spraying Project,
Contract No. 1104, are hereby approved.
3. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of May 2024.
