RESOLUTION NO. 2024-269
RESOLUTION APPROVING A DEVELOPMENT
AGREEMENT WITH IOWA HEARTLAND HABITAT FOR
HUMANITY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SINGLE-
FAMILY HOME, WITH A $5,000.00 INFILL HOUSING
GRANT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the Development Agreement dated May 6, 2024,between Iowa Heartland
Habitat for Humanity and the City of Waterloo, for the construction of a single-family home
located at 708 W. 3rd Street, with a$5,000.00 infill housing grant, and legally described as
follows:
LOT 6 IN BLOCK 7 IN LEAVITT'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, EXCEPT THE NORTHWESTERLY 45 FEET THEREOF, CITY OF
WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY
is hereby approved.
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents
on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of May 2024.
