RESOLUTION NO. 2024-271 RESOLUTION APPROVING A DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT AND MINIMUM ASSESSMENT AGREEMENT WITH 3 STOOGES, LLC, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF TWO 9,000 SQUARE FOOT COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS, WITH A MINIMUM ASSESSED VALUE OF $1,000,000.00 FOR PHASE I, WITH FINDERS FEE OF $10,000.00 AND REBATE SCHEDULE OF FIVE YEARS AT 50% UPON COMPLETION OF PHASE II, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the Development Agreement dated May 6, 2024, between 3 Stooges, LLC and the City of Waterloo, for the construction of two 9,000 square foot commercial buildings, on property located at 3620 Wagner Road, with a minimum assessed value of$1,000,000.00 for phase I,with finders fee of$10,000.00 and rebate schedule of five years at 50%upon completion of Phase II, is hereby approved. 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of May 2024.
