RESOLUTION NO. 2024-284
RESOLUTION APPROVING A REQUEST BY LUKE
PATTERSON FOR AN ENCROACHMENT AGREEMENT TO
ALLOW FOR THE PLACEMENT OF A STEP AND LANDING
IN THE "C-2" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT AT 510 W.
5TH STREET, EXTENDING INTO THE RIGHT-OF-WAY AND
SIDEWALK OF WEST 5TH STREET, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that
the request of Luke Patterson for an Encroachment Agreement, dated May 6, 2024, by and
between Luke Patterson and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, to allow for the placement of a step and
landing in the "C-2" Commercial District at 510 W. 5th Street, extending into the right-of-way
and sidewalk of West 5th Street, and legally described as follows:
THE SOUTHWEST 48 FEET OF LOT 1 AND THE SOUTHWEST 48 FEET OF
LOT 2, IN BLOCK 31 OF THE ORIGINAL PLAT OF WATERLOO WEST,
CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA
is hereby approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said
document on behalf of the City of Waterloo.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of May 2024.
