RESOLUTION APPROVING RECOMMENDATION OF AWARD
OF CONTRACT TO PRAIRIE CONSTRUCTION CO., INC.
OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$797,600.00, FOR THE F.Y. 2011 MARK'S PARK
PLAY AREA AND PERFORMANCE STRUCTURE, CONTRACT
NO. 773.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Prairie Construction Co., Inc. of Waterloo,
Iowa, in the amount of $797,600.00, for the F.Y. 2011 Mark's Park
Play Area and Performance Structure, Contract No. 773, described
in the specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said
project in Resolution No. 2010-785, after public hearing on
September 7, 2010 on published notice required by law, be and is
hereby accepted, the same being the apparent lowest bid for said
project.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of September, 2010.
