RESOLUTION NO. 2010-828
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REQUEST OF CARDINAL
CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR A MINOR SITE PLAN
AMENDMENT TO THE "R -4,R -P" PLANNED MULTIPLE
RESIDENCE DISTRICT, "C -P" PLANNED COMMERCIAL
DISTRICT, AND N'B-P" BUSINESS PARK FOR
PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST
CORNER OF ANSBOROUGH AVENUE AND SAN MARNAN
DRIVE IN THE COUNTRY CLUB BUSINESS CENTER,
THIRD ADDITION, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A
10,000 SQUARE FOOT OFFICE BUILDING IN THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of thetCity
of Waterloo, Iowa, approve the request of Cardinal Construction,
Inc. for a minor Site Plan Amendment to the "R -4,R -P" Planned
Multiple Residence District, "C -P" Planned Commercial District,
and "B -P" Business Park for property generally located at the
southeast corner of Ansborough Avenue and San Marnan Drive in the
Country Club Business Center, Third Addition, for the construction
of a 10,000 square foot office building, legally described as
follows:
Country Club Business Center Third Addition Lot 1, all
in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
WHEREAS, due to the insignificant nature of said minor Site
Plan Amendment, the Council did not deem it necessary to hold a
public hearing, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said minor
Site Plan Amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that a minor Site Plan Amendment to "R -4,R -
P" Planned Multiple Residence District, "C -P" Planned Commercial
District, and "B -P" Business Park for property generally located
at the southeast corner of Ansborough Avenue and San Marnan Drive
in the Country Club Business Center, Third Addition, for the
construction of a 10,000 square foot office building, be and the
same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of September, 2010.
