RESOLUTION NO. 2024-319
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., AND
AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
2024-2025 RESIDENTIAL LOTS/MISCELLANEOUS AREAS
MOWING AND LOT MAINTENANCE SERVICES
CONTRACT RE -BID FOR CITY -OWNED LOTS GENERALLY
MAINTAINED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING
DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, heretofore instructed the
Community Planning and Development Director of said city to prepare and file plans,
specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the in conjunction with the 2024-2025
Residential Lots/Miscellaneous Areas Mowing and Lot Maintenance Services Contract re -bid for
city -owned lots generally maintained by the Planning and Zoning Department, and
WHEREAS, said Community Planning and Development Director did file said plans,
specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the in conjunction with the 2024-2025
Residential Lots/Miscellaneous Areas Mowing and Lot Maintenance Services Contract re -bid for
city -owned lots generally maintained by the Planning and Zoning Department, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on May 20, 2024.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it is so ordered on motion
by this Council that said plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the in
conjunction with the 2024-2025 Residential Lots/Miscellaneous Areas Mowing and Lot
Maintenance Services Contract re -bid for city -owned lots generally maintained by the Planning
and Zoning Department, are hereby approved, and said project proceeds in accordance with said
specifications.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of May 2024.
