RESOLUTION NO. 2024-307
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF BID TO BOULDER
CONTRACTING, LLC, OF GRUNDY CENTER, IOWA, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $238,017.43, APPROVING THE CONTRACT,
BONDS, AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2025 SIDEWALK RAMP AND
TRAIL REPAIR PROGRAM - ZONE 4, CONTRACT NO. 1106,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Boulder Contracting, LLC, of Grundy Center, Iowa, submitted a bid in the
amount of $238,017.43, in conjunction with the FY 2025 Sidewalk Ramp and Trail Repair
Program - Zone 4, Contract No. 1106, and is the apparent low bidder, and
WHEREAS, Boulder Contracting, LLC submitted a written contract, bond, and
certificate of insurance, in conjunction with the FY 2025 Sidewalk Ramp and Trail Repair
Program - Zone 4, Contract No. 1106.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the bid of Boulder Contracting, LLC, in the amount of $238,017.43, in conjunction
with the FY 2025 Sidewalk Ramp and Trail Repair Program - Zone 4, Contract No. 1106, is
hereby awarded to Boulder Contracting, LLC.
2. That the contract, bond, and certificate of insurance submitted by Boulder Contracting,
LLC, in conjunction with the FY 2025 Sidewalk Ramp and Trail Repair Program - Zone 4,
Contract No. 1106, are hereby approved.
3. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of May 2024.
