RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACTS, BONDS, AND
CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE WITH PRAIRIE
CONSTRUCTION CO., INC. OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN
THE AMOUNT OF $797,600.00, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE F.Y. 2011 MARK'S PARK PLAY AREA AND
PERFORMANCE STRUCTURE, CONTRACT NO. 773, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Prairie Construction Co., Inc. of Waterloo,
Iowa, in the amount of $797,600.00, for the F.Y. 2011 Mark's Park
Play Area and Performance Structure, Contract No. 773, described
in the plans and specifications heretofore adopted by this
Council in Resolution No. 2010-785 for said project, after public
hearing on September 7, 2010 on published notice required by law,
be and is hereby accepted, the same being the lowest bid received
for said work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contracts, bonds, and certificates of insurance with the said
contractor for the construction of said improvements
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of September, 2010.
