ALLEN INVESTMENTS, INC. OF CEDAR FALLS, IOWA, TO SELL AND CONVEY FOR $1.00 PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED IN THE MIDPORT INDUSTRIAL AND BUSINESS PARK, FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW 10,000 SQUARE FOOT INDUSTRIAL BUILDING, WITH A NEW MINIMUM TAXABLE VALUE OF $1,034,470.00, AND TAX REBATES FOR 5 YEARS AT 500, AS OCTOBER 4, 2010, AT 5:30 P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 4th day of October, 2010, for the purpose of considering and acting upon a proposed Development Agreement with Howard L. Allen Investments, Inc. of Cedar Falls, Iowa, to sell and convey for $1.00 property generally located in the Midport Industrial and Business Park, for construction of a new 10,000 square foot industrial building, with a new minimum taxable value of $1,034,470.00, and tax rebates for 5 years at 500, and legally described as follows: Lot No. 22, MidPort America Park Plat No. 3, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa. Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of September, 2010. Ernest G.
