RESOLUTION DENYING A JUNK YARD AND AUTO SALVAGE PERMIT
FOR WILBER AUTO BODY.
WHEREAS , Wilber Auto Body has proposed that the Council of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a Junk Yard and Auto Salvage Permit
located southeasterly of the intersection of Easton Avenue and
Sheffield Avenue legally described as follows :
Lots A and B , Lots 55-60 , inclusive, Lots 22-26 ,
inclusive and part of Lot 27 , all in Block 114,
Riverview Addition, City of Waterloo , Black
Hawk County, Iowa.
WHEREAS , a public hearing was held on November 3 , 1980 at 7 : 00
P.M. in the Council Chambers in City Hall, Waterloo , Iowa, as
provided by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo , Iowa, on
the proposal to approve said above mentioned permit , and
WHEREAS , objectors to the permit were heard, and
WHEREAS , it is the opinion of this Council that said permit for
a junk yard and auto salvage permit should be denied as proposed,
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, that the Junk Yard and Auto Salvage Permit for Wilber Auto
Salvage located southeasterly of the intersection of Easton Avenue
and Sheffield Avenue, be and the same is hereby denied.
Passed and adopted this 3rd day of November, 1980 , approved
by the Mayor this 5th day of November, 1980 .
