A RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING AND
NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON VACATION OF ALLEY BOUNDED BY
UNIVERSITY AVENUE,CLEVELAND AVENUE,JANNEY AVENUE,AND
HOWREY AVENUE AS NOVEMBER 24, 1980 ,AT 7 :00 P .M. IN COUNCIL
CHAMBERS OF CITY HALL AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA AS,
FOLLOWS :
Section 1-That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Waterloo
Iowa at 7 :00 o 'clock PoM. ,on the 24th day of November, 1980 , for
the purpose of considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate
an alley bounded by University Avenue,Cleveland Avenue,Janney
Avenue,and Howrey Avenue requested by Ken-Jan, Inc . ,owned by the
City of Waterloo, Iowa,described as follows :
All of the alley lying adjacent to and east of Lots Nos .
One(1) through Five (5) in Block No. Seventeen (17) in
Hagerman Place in the City of Waterloo,Black Hawk County,
Iowa.
Section 2- Thdt the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier,in the manner provided by Section 362 . 3 .
Passed and adopted this 3rd day of November,1980 .
