A RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING AND
NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON VACATION OF EAST-WEST ALLEY
BOUNDED BY WEST PARK,SOUTH STREET,WEST FOURTH STREET,
AND WELLINGTON STREET AS NOVEMBER 24, 1980,AT 7 :00 P .M.
IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF CITY HALL AND INSTRUCTING THE
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1-That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa at 7 :00 o 'clock P.M. on the 24th day of November,
1980 for the purpose of considering and acting upon a proposal to
vacate the east-west alley bounded by West Park,South Street,West
Fourth Street and Wellington Street requested by First Congregational
Church,owned by the City of Waterloo, Iowa,described as follows :
All of the alley lying between and adjacent to Lots One(1)
Two (2) , Three (3) ,Four (4) ,Five (5) and Lots Nos . Six(6)
Seven (7) ,Eight (8) ,Nine(9) and Ten (10) in Block No.
Thirty Two (32) in the Original Plat on the West Side of the
Cedar River in the City of Waterloo,Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Section 2- That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice
of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier,in
the manner provi ed by Section 362 . 3 .
Passed and adopted this 3rd day of November, 1980 .
