A RESOLUTION SETTING A TIME FOR HEARING ON AMENDING THE COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT BUDGET
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo entered into an Agreement
with the Federal Government approving the Community Development
Block Grant Program and Budget; and
WHEREAS, there are uncommitted funds in the amount of
$90,018.08 in the Community Development Block Grant Completion of
Urban Renewal project; and
WHEREAS, it is now in order for the City Council to
consider whether to approve the use of these funds in other eligible
Community Development Block Grant activities; and
WHEREAS, these funds could be used for the construction
of a sewer and park development; and
WHEREAS, it is a regulation of the Community Development
Block Grant Program that a public hearing be held prior to the transfer
of funds to a new project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA that a date be set for a public hearing on
the proposed transfer of funds to new projects.
