RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING TO
BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF E . R.BAILEY TO REZONE FROM
"M-1"LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT TO "R-2" ONE AND TWO
FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT A PARCEL OF LAND GENERALLY
LOCATED EAST OF BURTON AVENUE AND NORTH OF WALKER
STREET AS DECEMBER 15 , 1980 ,AT 7 : 00 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL
CHAMBERS IN CITY HALL AND INSTRUCTING CLERK TO PUBLISH
NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS , the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa at 7 : 00 o ' clock P .M. , on the 22nd day of December
1980 for the purpose of considering and acting upon an application
of E. R. Bailey to rezone from "M-I" Light Industrial District
to "R-2 " One and Two Family Residence a parcel of land generally
located East of Burton Avenue and North of Walker Street and
legally described as follows :
Unplatted Waterloo East
Beginning at the southwest corner of the northwest
4of Section 14,Township 89 , Range 13 ; thence east
660 feet; thence north 264 feet ; thence west 663 . 76
feet; thence south 264 feet to point of beginning.
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice
of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
Passed and adopted this 24th day of November, 1980 .
