A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A TEMPORARY EASEMENT AGREEMENT
AND A PERMANENT EASEMENT AGREEMENT IN CONNECTION WITH THE LOCAL FLOOD
CONTROL PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo is engaged in a Local Flood
Control Project, and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Verner Nelson, the Owners, of some of
the land required for flood control levees, and
WHEREAS, the Nelsons, have provided Temporary and Permanent
Easement Agreements stipulating under what conditions the City of
Waterloo may construct levees and other flood control devices on
their land,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor be authorized to
execute the proposed Easement Agreements on behalf of the City of
Waterloo, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of the executed Easement
Agreements be returned to the Owners for their records.
