RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CONSTRUCTION OF A
RESIDENTIAL UNIT AT 1602 BURTON AVENUE, NOW
ZONED "M-1" LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT.
WHEREAS , Mrs . E . R. Bailey has petitioned the City Council for
rezoning of her property at 1602 Burton from "M-1" Light Industrial
District to "R-2" One and Two Family Residence District for the
purposes of constructing a single family dwelling, and
WHEREAS , the City Zoning Commission has recommended that said
request be denied, and
WHEREAS , after hearing both opponents and proponents of the
request at a public hearing on December 22 , 1980 , the City Council
denied the rezoning request under C .R. 79731 of December 22 , 1980 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the construction of a single family residential
unit at the property known as 1602 Burton Avenue and legally described
as follows be hereby approved:
Unplatted Waterloo East part of SW NW Sec
14 T 89 R 13 Com. at SW Cor. NW 1/4 Sec
14 T 89 R 13 Thence E along 1/4
Sec line 183 ft thence N 60 ft thence
W 183 ft to W line of Sec th S 60 ft
