RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING TO
BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF YOUNG DEVELOPMENT COMPANY
TO REZONE FROM "A-1" AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT AND "R-2"
ONE AND TWO FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO "R-3"
MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT A PARCEL OF LAND
GENERALLY LOCATED NORTHEAST OF THE INTERSECTION OF
BISHOP AVENUE AND COTTAGE GROVE AVENUE AS JANUARY
19 , 1981,AT 7 : 00 P .M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN CITY
HALL AND INSTRUCTING CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF
HEARING.
WHEREAS , the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa at 7 : 00 o ' clock P .M. on the 26th day of January,
1981 for the purpose of considering and acting upon an applicat-
ion of Young Development Company to rezone from "A-1" Agricultural
District and "R-2" One and Two Family Residence District to
"R-3" Multiple Family Residence District generally located north-
east of the intersection of Bishop Avenue and Cottage Grove Avenue
and legally described as follows :
The east 200 feet of the West 225 feet of the South
591 feet of the SW4, SE4 of Section 29-89-12 all
in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of
the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
Passed and adopted this 22nd day of December, 1980 .
