RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A DEED FROM LEON K.AND RUTH
E . LAUVER FOR THE F. Y. 1981 CARRIAGE HILL RETENTION
BASIN.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO
IOWA,
hereby accepts a deed from Leon K. and Ruth E . Lauver for property
legally described as follows :
Part of the Northeast quarter of the Southeast quarter
of the Southwest quarter in Section 21 ,Township 89 ,
Range 13 ,beginning at the point of intersection of the
Northeasterly line of U. S . Highway 218 as now es-
tablished with a line 30 feet West of and parallel with
the West line of the East Half of the Northeast Quarter
of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of
said Section; thence North along said parallel line
250 feet; thence Southeasterly parallel with the center-
line of U. S . Highway 218 to the West line of the East
half of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter
of the Southwest Quarter; thence South along said line
250 feet to the Northeasterly right-of-way of Highway
218 ; thence Northwesterly 33 . 97 feet along said right-
of-way to the point of beginning .
The consideration for this conveyance is the exchange
of like real estate containing the same number of
square feet; there being no other consideration in-
volved, it therefore requires no revenue stamps .
Said deeds are accepted in connection with the F.Y. 1981
Carriage Hill Retention Basin,Contract No. and this re-
solution specifically approves the recording of the same.
