RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING AND
NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF AN
ALLEY LOCATED NORTH OF JANNEY AVENUE AND EAST OF
ENGLEWOOD AVENUE AS JANUARY 21 , 1981, AT 7 : 00 P .M.
IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF CITY HALL AND INSTRUCTING
THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, as
follows :
Section 1 - That the Council of the City of Waterloo , Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Waterloo ,
Iowa at 7 : 00 P .M. , on the 21st day of January, 1980. , for the purpose
of considering and acting upon a proposal to sell and convey an alley
requested by Craig E. and Judith K. Penrose owned by the City of
Waterloo , Iowa, described as follows :
The Sixteen (16) feet wide north-south alley
located south of the extension of the north
lot lines of Lots Eight (8) and Eleven (11)
and north of the northerly right-of-way line
of Janney Avenue, Block Fourteen (14) , Hager-
man Place, City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa, with the City ' s retention of a utility
easement over, under, above the above described
parcel .
Section 2 - That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice
of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
Passed and adopted this 7th day of January, 1980 .
