RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING
AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN OF THE SALE OF A PARCEL
OF PROPERTY BOUNDED BY SYCAMORE STREET, UNION
STREET, LAFAYETTE STREET, AND THE ILLINOIS CENTRAL
RAILROAD AS JANUARY 21 , 1980 , AT 7 : 00 P.M. IN THE
COUNCIL CHAMBERS AND INSTRUCTING CLERK TO PUBLISH
NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS , the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet
in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Waterloo ,
Iowa at 7 : 00 P.M. on the 21st day of January, 1980 for the purpose
of considering the sale of a parcel of property legally described
as follows :
Lots 1 , 2 , 3 ,4, 5 , 6 and 7 and the northwesterly-south-
easterly vacated alley, all in Block No . 2 in
Riverside Addition to the City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa, subject to easements , and
excepting therefrom that part described as follows :
The southeasterly 10 . 9 feet of the northeasterly
18 . 7 feet of Lot 2 and the northwesterly 3.1 feet
of the northeasterly 18 . 7 feet of Lot 1 , Block 2 ,
with the City' s retention of an easement .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the
time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
Passed and adopted this 7th day of January, 1980 .
