ADOPTING THE UNIFORM BUILDING CODE,1979 EDL,
OFFICIAL BUILDING CODE FOR THE CITY OF WATERi
WHEREAS, a public hearing was neld on January 14,19i
required,at which time opponents and proponents of the propc
ordinance were neard,now,therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,IOWA
that the first reading of an ordinance adopting the Uniform Build-
ing Code, 1979 Edition,as the Official Building Code for the City
of Waterloo,Iowa.
Passed and approved this 14th day of January,1980.
