RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE OF AN
EASEMENT TO JOE MINARD CONSTRUCTION,INC. FOR STORM SEWER
PURPOSES ON FIRE STATION PROPERTY LOCATED ON ANSBOROUGH
AVENUE AND SOUTH OF WEST RIDGEWAY AVENUE,AS PUBLISHED IN
THE WATERLOO COURIER DECEMBER 28,1979 ,AND DIRECTING
MAYOR AND CLERK TO EXECUTE AND DELIVER SAID EASEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, as the owner of an ease-
ment on Fire Station property located on Ansborough Avenue and South
of West Ridgeway Avenue in the City of Waterloo,Black Hawk County,
Iowa,and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on January 14,1980,at 700
P .M0 , in the Council Chambers in City Hall,Waterloo, Iowa,as provi 2d
by law by the Council of the City of Waterloo,Iowa,on the proposal
to convey said excess easement owned by the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
to Joe Minard Construction,Inc .
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said convey-
ance should be made as proposed.
NOW,THEREFORE,IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITT
OF WATERLOO,IOWA, AS FOLLOWS :
1 .That the easement located on Fire Station property located
on Ansborough Avenue and South of West Ridgeway Avenue in
the City of Waterloo,Black Hawk County,Iowa,and in the City
of Waterloo, Iowa,as above described and as fully described
in the published notice in the Waterloo Daily Courier on
December 28, 1979 , is not presently needed and will not be
needed in the foreseeable future for municipal purposes and
its ownership is serving no municipal purpose .
2 . That the request of Joe Minard Construction,Inc . for the
conveyance of the said easement for storm sewer purposes ,
roc be,and it is hereby,approved and
