RESOLUTION APPROVING RECOMMENDATION OF
ACCEPTANCE OF BID BY MURPHY TRACTOR CO. OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, FOR THE RENTAL OF THREE (3)
MOTOR GRADERS TO SUPPORT SNOW REMOVAL
OPERATIONS, IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,000.00 PER
GRADER PER MONTH.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Murphy Tractor Co. of Waterloo, Iowa, in the
amount of $4,000.00 per grader per month, for the Rental of Three
(3) Motor Graders to support snow removal operations, for the
period of November 2, 2010 through March 15, 2011, as described
in the Request for Proposal document, contract, etc. heretofore
adopted by this Council in Resolution No. 2010-843 for said
project, after September 20, 2010 public hearing on published
notice required by law, be and is hereby accepted, the same being
the lowest bid received for said work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the Rental of Three (3)
Motor Graders to support snow removal operations, said contract
not to be binding on the City until approved by this Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of September, 2010.
