RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENTS NO. 3 & 4 TO
CONTRACT NO. 08 -DRB -205 WITH THE IOWA
DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT (IDED) AND
DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID AMENDMENTS BY
MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that Amendments No. 3 & 4 to Contract No. 08 -DRB -205, dated
November 9, 2009, for Community Development Block Grant Business
Disaster Recovery funding for disaster impacted business sites,
Amendment No. 3 adding wording that will allow flexibility in
allocating funds between "Urgent Need" and "Low to Moderate
Income" and Amendment No. 4 expanding the program to include
additional business assistance programs, including: 1) ERAP
(Equipment Reimbursement Assistance Progrem), 2)FIRP (Flood
Insurance Reimbursement Program), and 3) CMSBP (Case Management
Business Support Program), by and between the Iowa Department of
Economic Development and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the
same is hereby approved, and the Mayor authorized to execute the
same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of September, 2010.
