RESOLUTION NO. 2024-339
RESOLUTION APPROVING A DEVELOPMENT
AGREEMENT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN 8-PLEX
APARTMENT BUILDING, A GRANT OF $5,000.00 PER UNIT
FOR A TOTAL GRANT OF $40,000.00 FOR INFILL HOUSING
DEVELOPMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the Development Agreement dated June 3, 2024,between Babic Properties, LLC
and the City of Waterloo, for construction an 8-plex apartment building, located at 1738 Flower
Street, including a grant of$5,000.00 per unit, for a total grant of$40,000.00 for infill housing
development, is hereby approved.
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents
on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of June 2024.
