RESOLUTION NO. 2023-342
RESOLUTION APPROVING A RENEWAL AGREEMENT WITH
WELLMARK BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD FOR FEES ASSOCIATED
WITH ADMINISTRATION, NETWORK ACCESS, AND STOP LOSS,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, that the contract dated June 3, 2024, for the renewal of contract between Wellmark Blue
Cross Blue Shield of Iowa and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, for administration of the Employee
Health Care and Prescription Plan from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025, including
administrative fees and stop loss insurance in the amount of $2,599,078.00, is hereby approved
and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of June 2024.
