RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACTS, BONDS, AND
CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE WITH TSCHIGGFRIE
EXCAVATING CO. OF DUBUQUE, IOWA, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $116,065.13, IN CONJUNCTION WITH
THE F.Y. 2011 RAINBOW DRIVE AND LETSCH ROAD
FORCE MAIN PROJECT, CONTRACT NO. 792, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Tschiggfrie Excavating Co. of Dubuque, Iowa,
in the amount of $116,065.13, for the F.Y. 2011 Rainbow Drive and
Letsch Road Force Main Project, Contract No. 792, described in
the plans and specifications heretofore adopted by this Council
in Resolution No. 2010-840 for said project, after public hearing
on September 20, 2010 on published notice required by law, be and
is hereby accepted, the same being the lowest bid received for
said work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contracts, bonds, and certificates of insurance with the said
contractor for the construction of said improvements
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of September, 2010.
