RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF HAWKtYE
VALLEY AREA AGENCY ON AGING TO HOLD "AGING
WALK" EVENT ON MAY 26, 2011.
WHEREAS, the Hawkeye Valley Area Agency on Aging has
requested that they be allowed to hold the "Aging Walk" event on
May 26, 2011 beginning at 10:00 a.m., with the route starting at
Young Arena east along Commercial Street, right on West Park
Avenue, left on Washington Street, right on West 3rd Street, left
on Commercial Street and end at Young Arena.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the Hawkeye Valley Area
Agency on Aging to hold the "Aging Walk" event on May 26, 2011
beginning at 10:00 a.m., with the route starting at Young Arena
east along Commercial Street, right on West Park Avenue, left on
Washington Street, right on West 3rd Street, left on Commercial
Street and end at Young Arena, together with the recommendation
of approval by the Director of Safety Services, be and the same
is hereby approved.
